If curbside recycling is not an option, San Diego residents have several other options, including city park and recreation centers, privately ran recycling centers, and the Miramar Recycling Center. The below covers the top drop-off locations for San Diego Recycling.
Miramar Recycling Center
Located north of State Route 52, at 5165 Convoy St. in the city of San Diego, the Miramar Recycling Center is open Monday through Saturday, 7 am to 4:30 pm. They accept most recyclables, including large or bulky recyclable items that may not fit in your curbside bins.
Refunds for Recycling
The Miramar Recycling Center pays the CRV-California Redemption Value for all aluminum, plastic, glass, and steel beverage containers. There may also be scrap value paid out for some metals, newspapers, and cardboard.
